Platinum galvanized steel in-ground pools are designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions that Mother Nature can dish out. In Ohio, we have clay composition soil that is very reactive. Winter freezes and spring thaws cause concrete, gunite and fiberglass pools to crack and shift over time. Once a concrete or fiberglass wall starts to crack, there is no foolproof or cheap way to fix it. Platinum pools are engineered for durability and strength to withstand extreme ground conditions.

The strength of steel across America remains unrivaled whether building pools, bridges or skyscrapers. That is why Platinum in-ground pools are constructed using Heavy Gauge steel layered with twice as much protective zinc coating as commercial grades providing an impenetrable barrier against corrosion. Platinum in-ground pools feature 5" wide top and bottom flanges that have a unique double bend for additional strength. Our steel panels utilize full box beam stiffeners and side flanges that are not just bent, but are secured by an unparalleled bolt inter-loc system. Precise panel alignment is reinforced by super heavy gauge adjustable A-frame and Deck Support braces. With many, deck support braces are considered optional. However, engineering has taught us that they are not option in Ohio.
